The Nene Crossings Benefice

Meet the Staff

There are a wide number of staff working in the benefice. We would like to introduce them to you:

Mr Gorden Eggleton
is a Lay Pastoral Minister, living in Irthlingborough with special responsibility in pastoral care. He is active in Serving and Home Communions.

Mr Noel Pearson
is a Reader Emeritus in the benefice, with prime responsibility for assisting in leading worship in Irthlingborough.

Mr Ray Railton
is a Reader in the benefice, living in Woodford, with prime responsibility for assisting in leading worship in the villages. He is strongly involved with the scout movement.

Mrs June Read
is a Reader in the benefice, with primary responsibility in Irthlingborough, assisting in leading Worship, and coordinating Baptism Visits and Home Communions.

Mr Eric Wright
is a reader in benefice, living in Woodford, with prime responsibility for the villages, assisting in leading worship.

The Revd Canon John Hall

is the Priest in Charge of the Nene Crossings Benefice, with overall responsibilty for all four parishes. His is the prime contact for dealings with the Parish of Irthlingborough.  He was ordained in 1998 and has been in post since August 2011. He is a widower with two teenage sons.

The Revd Pauline Tate

is licensed as the Assistant Priest in the benefice. She is the primary contact for the villages of Woodford, Great Addington and Little Addington. She has lived in Great Addington for a number of years and was ordained in 2007 She is married and with two grown up sons and four grandchildren.
